Calling All M’sian Artists! Vans ‘Musicians Wanted’ 2021 is Open & Winner Will Perform With YUNGBLUD
Vans have officially opened submissions for their 2021 Musicians Wanted competition – which will offer one lucky winner the chance to share the stage with YUNGBLUD! To be held virtually for the second time, the Asia Pacific edition of the contest will be accepting original songs entries by artists in the region from 7 July to 23 July.
The contest – which accepts aspiring musicians of all genres – not only puts the all-important spotlight on up-and-coming artists, it also involves numerous prizes.
“Calling all singers, rappers, drummers, even flautists! Whatever your musical vice, enter for the chance to perform with YUNGBLUD. Judges will pick a final five to perform in a digital battle for the grand prize,” says Vans.

And even if you don’t make the cut to perform with the Doncaster rock’n’roll star, you could still win Vans and Kramer gear, a premium TuneCore prize pack, global music distribution, Spotify playlisting and more.
Following last year’s Vans Musicians Wanted platform (which had over 22,000 submissions), judges for this year’s contest include rapper, writer and comic book artist Denzel Curry, Grammy-nominated pop star and songwriter Julia Michaels, 88rising’s founder Sean Miyashiro, as well as Yungblud himself.
The top five finalists from each region (the United States, Mexico, Central and South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific) will get the opportunity to play Vans’ Musicians Wanted virtual concert series in September before the ultimate winner will share the stage with YUNGBLUD in front of live audiences as the opening act in 2022.
