Sodomised, Tortured, Strangled & Stabbed; New Details Emerge On Paedophile Richard Huckle’s Death

Back in October 2019, convicted paedophile Richard Huckle, who sexually abused Malaysian and Cambodian children, was found dead in prison. Reports said that the child sexual predator had been found stabbed multiple times with a makeshift blade in his cell.

Turns out, there’s a lot more to the story…

While Richard was serving 22 life sentences for the abuse of nearly 200 children between the ages of six months and 12 years, he was allegedly killed in cold blood by another prisoner, Paul Fitzgerald – who was jailed indefinitely in 2009 for a sex attack on a dog walker.

According to Daily Mail, new details has emerged regarding his death as Paul faced court trial at Hull Crown Court on 18 November, last week.

New evidence showed that Paul used an electric cable to strangle Richard before forcefully inserting a pen into his brain. Richard was found gagged and bound by his hands and feet with severe injuries to his face and with an incision made on his neck from a shank made with a melted toothbrush.

Paul also sodomised him in the prison cell during the “carefully planned attack designed to humiliate and degrade” the paedophile. He apparently wanted Richard to “feel what all those children felt”.

Meanwhile, Paul also told the prison’s mental health team that he “murdered Mr Huckle in cold blood and would liked to have cooked bits of his body” and described the attack as “poetic justice”.

Prosecutor Alistair MacDonald QC said the injuries to Richard showed “a form of punishment associated” with his crimes.

“Richard Huckle suffered death as a result of ligature strangulation as part of a sustained attack… (Paul) said he enjoyed what he was doing to the body of Mr Huckle and that he would have gone on to kill two or three others. The reason he did not was that he was having too much fun with Mr Huckle,” Alistair said.

As the trial is still ongoing, the jury was told that Paul denies murder but accepts killing Richard by reason of diminished responsibility.

When news broke regarding Richard’s death back in 2019, it prompted mixed emotions in Malaysia where Richard had committed the heinous crimes – with some people expressing disappointment that his time in prison was cut short. Residents of one community in Kuala Lumpur were reluctant to speak about Huckle, although one woman, who sought anonymity, said she was relieved to hear of his death.
