Education Minister Says His Twitter was Hacked, Thus the “Mari Sebarkan Cinta” Tweet
Following a strange flow of tweets on his account, Education Minister Maszlee Malik has issued an apology after claiming that his Twitter was hacked.
Twitter user @azrism screencaptured two of Maszlee’s tweets earlier in the morning and asked if the minister’s administrator forgot to switch accounts, as reported by Malay Mail.
One of the tweets, which were both written in Malay, read “Come… spread love. Reject distant happiness”, and another tweet said “Wowww Vitamin D people! This is the problem befriending those who enter the office 7am and switch on the aircon. Perrrhh best nye”.
Admin YB lupa switch acc ni😂 kan dah silap twet pic.twitter.com/8JCUgXwfxS

The tweets were then deleted and a tweet followed after that, presumably by the Maszlee himself apologising and clarifying he didn’t tweeted them.
Saya mohon maaf. Twitter saya telah digodam oleh pihak tertentu tetapi sudah berjaya diatasi dengan segera.

“I’m sorry. My Twitter was hacked by someone but was successfully overcome immediately” it read, according to Malay Mail.
Maszlee isn’t the first to announce his social media account was hacked, last month Sembrong MP and former defence minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein claimed his Twitter was hacked when he “liked” a porno with the title “F***ing the stepmother with force”.
