If you’ve been itching for something real in the music scene—not the overproduced stuff, but raw, honest sounds from the region’s most exciting artists—Road to FAM might be the best thing you’ll hear about this year.
New music distribution platform, Future Asian Music (FAM)—the brainchild of 88rising—has teamed up with Levi’s to launch a free, multi-city music tour across Southeast Asia this May. They’re calling it Road to FAM, and it’s not just a festival—it’s a movement.
Think underground energy meets global-level production, all stitched together by Levi’s, a brand that’s been riding shotgun with cultural revolutions for 150 years.
Here’s the gist: The tour kicks off in Manila on 14 May, followed by stops in Singapore (16 May), Kuala Lumpur (21 May), and Jakarta (25 May). Each city will feature a hometown hero doing what they do best—turning intimate venues into emotional battlegrounds and dance floors.
Let’s break it down:
Manila: Zack Tabudlo at Apotheka (14 May)

Zack Tabudlo is the guy in the Philippines right now. You’ve definitely heard ‘Binibini‘—it was everywhere.
He’s the first Filipino male solo act to crack a billion streams on Spotify. But beyond the stats, it’s the vulnerability in his voice that hits hardest. Seeing him live in an intimate space like Apotheka? That’s not a show, it’s therapy. You’ll cry, dance, or both. Probably both.
Singapore: Fariz Jabba at Hard Rock Cafe (16 May)

Next stop: Singapore. Fariz Jabba brings the fire. His music sits somewhere between hip-hop, R&B, and the kind of street poetry that makes you think twice.
Tracks like ‘Ape Sia‘ are gritty and grounded, tapping into urban life in the Lion City with flair and honesty. Hard Rock Cafe is going to be all energy and sweaty camaraderie. If you’re into music that punches with purpose, this is your night.
Kuala Lumpur: Zamaera at Over & Above (21 May)

Zamaera is more than just Malaysia’s rap queen—she’s the one who kicked the doors open.
Since ‘Helly Kelly‘, she’s been redefining what it means to be a female rapper in a scene that didn’t always make space for women. Now, she owns that space. Her lyrics? Sharp. Her presence? Unapologetic. Catching her at Over & Above in KL won’t just be a performance—it’ll definitely leave an impression.
Jakarta: RAMENGVRL at Zoo.SCBD (25 May)

In Jakarta, it’s RAMENGVRL’s turn to take the mic. You can’t talk about Indonesian rap without her name coming up.
She’s wild, she’s witty, and her music doesn’t play by any rules. With five AMI awards under her belt and bangers like ‘CA$HMERE‘, RAMENGVRL’s set at Zoo.SCBD is going to be an explosion of bass, bars, and attitude. If there’s one place to let loose and go full chaos-mode, it’s here.
The Grand Finale: FAM Bangkok (date to be confirmed)

All roads lead to FAM Bangkok, where Zack, Fariz, Zamaera, and RAMENGVRL will unite for a massive, collaborative show.
And joining them is none other than MILLI, Thailand’s global breakout star—the same MILLI who rapped about mango sticky rice on her iconic Coachella debut.
This final show isn’t just the end of the tour—it’s the beginning of something bigger. A real stage for Southeast Asia’s rising voices to stand shoulder-to-shoulder and be seen by the world.

FAM isn’t trying to be just another music platform. It’s building a community for artists in the early stages of their careers to collaborate, grow, and reach new audiences. Levi’s is throwing its weight behind it too—no gimmicks, just pure support for originality and expression.
The artists will also be featured in mini-documentaries dropping soon—think creative deep-dives into their personal journeys, sounds, and struggles. With 88rising’s cinematic touch, it’s set to be a binge-worthy series that’ll do more than just promote music—it’ll tell stories that matter.
All the shows are FREE
