Stovelab Launches Its First Massive Rave ‘ECHO CHAMBER’ Above the KL Skyline

After turning temples, burger joints, cafes, and even Muzium Negara into sonic playgrounds, Stovelab is now going bigger than ever.

The trailblazing DJ recording platform is officially stepping into large-scale event territory with ECHO CHAMBER, a full-blown rave taking place on Friday, 16 May at Vox Live.

This isn’t just another show—it’s a seismic leap for the brand, with an expected 800-person crowd, pounding beats, and an unmatched view of KL’s glittering skyline.

“We bootstrapped this from zero. From shooting DJ sets in borrowed rooms to now packing one of KL’s highest venues, this event is a ‘thank you’ to everyone who believed in what we’re building.

“There was a time when this idea felt unreachable. Now we’re standing on top of the city, about to throw one of the hardest raves KL’s ever seen—and we’re here to document it all,” said the Creative Director of Stovelab, Rizq.

What began as a scrappy DIY project—with a camera, a few passionate DJs, and a love for atmosphere—is now turning into one of the boldest raves the city has seen.

Expect an unapologetically raw mix of tech house, techno, hard groove, and hard techno, curated for dancers who come for the sound, not the selfies. No VIP tables. No bottle parades. Just sweat, basslines, and pure immersion.

The event will also see an impressive lineup of well-known and respected DJs in the scene, including Ashley Lau, BATE, Jovynn, Richie Rizq, WCKD, and Raven.

“Being part of Stovelab Setscapes at Muzium Negara was incredible—but ECHO CHAMBER feels like the next big legendary step. This time, we’re not just playing through screens—we’re dancing together. I can’t wait to feel that energy live,” said JOVYNN.
