Our favourite boujee mak cik is back with her latest song ‘Lavida Raya’, just in time to celebrate the upcoming festive season. A cosmetic entrepreneur known for her lavish lifestyle, Datuk Seri Vida (DSV) recently posted a music video on YouTube and to be honest, it’s catchy af.

Unlike typical Raya songs that play off the sad vibe, she hits us with an upbeat tempo and carefree lyrics about duit Raya(?). Perfect for the millennial who just wants to have fun and get some guilt-free moolah…

‘Lavida Raya’ is the second song that DSV has shared with the public (remember the iconic ‘I Am Me’?) and it’s definitely a hit–the song became the No.1 Top Trending video on YouTube, in just 18 hours since it’s debut.

In a report by Astro Awani, DSV’s marketing team stated that they were happy with the feedback. Netizens are claiming that it’s super-catchy (albeit a bit football anthem-like) and, makes you want to dance and sing-along. Listen to the song below:

According to DSV herself, the sweet choreography in the video was the idea of her only daughter, Cik B. She wanted the video to be cheerful for people to enjoy themselves – and it worked!
