She’s back, she’s blazing, and she’s rewriting the playbook.

Zamaera, one of Malaysia’s most fearless independent voices in hip hop, is kicking off her first-ever national tour this May. Aptly titled the Epiphany Tour 2025, the seven-stop run signals more than just a victory lap—it’s a declaration of self-made success, fresh off her debut performance at the globally renowned South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin, Texas.

What makes this tour truly historic? Zamaera isn’t just performing across the country—she’s doing it without major label backing, making her the first independent female rapper in Malaysia to headline a tour of this scale.

“I’m not here to wait around for doors to open. I’m building my own damn stage,” Zamaera says, fresh off the release of her latest single, Jumper.

The track, all punch and no filler, is a sonic shape-shifter—equal parts hip hop, trap, and electronic chaos—with lyricism that hits like a prophecy finally spoken aloud.

Spanning cities from Kedah to Sarawak, each show is more than just a concert—it’s a manifesto. Zamaera’s live sets will be accompanied by I-SKY, her long-time creative partner and the mastermind behind Asylum Studios and the Lepas Geram series.

Expect genre-hopping beats, soulful crescendos, and bars with bite. But don’t expect the same show twice—every stop will feature local guest acts who represent the grassroots heartbeat of Malaysian hip hop.

In Kuching, she’ll be joined by rising wordsmith Irfan Aniq and DJ Keeyushee, co-founder of the ever-forward SFDP collective. “This tour is about returning home—not just physically, but creatively.

“Malaysia made me, and this is my way of giving back, building forward, and bringing everyone along,” Zamaera says.

With seven cities on the itinerary, here’s where the Epiphany Tour is heading:

• 16 May – NYX, Kota Kinabalu

• 21 May – Special appearance at “Road To Fam” with 88rising x LEVI’S® at Over & Above, Kuala Lumpur

Zamaera teased her KL appearance as something she’s been “manifesting for years,” and with 88rising in the mix, it’s clear she’s not just riding the wave, but creating it.
