Malaysian singer-songwriter Yuna continues to solidify her position as an international popstar! Making Malaysia proud once again, she has been nominated for the Best South East Asia Act award at the upcoming MTV Europe Music Awards that will be held in Spain, this 3 November.

The 32-year-old, whose real name is Yunalis Mat Zara’ai will be going up against Vietnam’s Suboi, Indonesia’s Rich Brian, Phillippines’ Moira Dela Torre, Singapore’s Jasmine Sokko and Thailand’s Jannie Weigel in the category, which was previously won by unofficial Subang Jaya president, rapper Joe Flizzow last year.

Yesterday, she announced her nomination through Twitter by asking her fans to go and vote for her on the MTV website. So you know what to do if you’re a Yuna fan!

Besides being nominated for this award, Yuna has been spotted rubbing shoulders with Cardi B and Blackpink’s Jennie at Paris Fashion Week for a recent Chanel runway show. Netizens went wild in the comments with their admiration and playful envy when she shared those surreal moments on Instagram.

“I’m still over the moon. I can’t believe that I got invited to Chanel’s Spring Summer 2020 show… I got to go to Paris, wear a gorgeous outfit, go see a stunning show, meet wonderful people, and have a great time”, Yuna wrote on her IG.

The Forevermore singer was dressed to the nines in a glamorous red coat, duo-toned ankle boots, and a black belt with the Chanel logo to cinch the waist. We love a fashion icon and are crossing our fingers for her to bring back that award!
