Your Mom’s Old Pots Could Be Worth Up To 10,000 USD
Some collectors are now paying as much as USD10,000 for vintage pots manufactured in the 1970s. However, the pot’s worth depends on what kind of patterns you have.
According to ThatsLife.com, “More rare patterns, like Wildflower, made from 1977 to 1984 – and Floral Bouquet, made from 1971 to 1975 can fetch up to 10,000USD,” which is equivalent to around RM40,555.
We know, who’d pay for a USD10k pot right? But you’d be surprised how colourful and weird the collectors’ world is. Check out some of the most valuable designs on eBay:
CorningWare was first introduced in 1958 by Corning Glass Works in the United States. It was popular for their unique glass-ceramic cookware technology.
We’re pretty sure you’ve seen these pots during Hari Raya, or maybe just a normal family dinner but come on… why would we pay attention to an old pot? Now that you’ve read this, you better ring your mom or run straight to the kitchen and rummage the whole place.
