Woman Films Herself Masturbating in IKEA Store in China

Taking IKEA’s ‘Do It Yourself’ motto a step too far, a woman filmed herself masturbating inside a branch of the store in China. In the 16-minute video clip, the woman, who’s believed to be a pornstar, and a cameraman set up at various locations in the store before she begins pleasuring herself.

Oddly enough, while she gets it on, shoppers walk by casually in the background, unsuspecting the activity. The clip which went viral before it was taken offline, got the attention of IKEA.

“We resolutely oppose and condemn this kind of behaviour, and immediately reported it to the police in the suspected area,” IKEA said in a statement, without revealing the name of the branch.

According to AFP, an IKEA spokesperson said that the company would take “even more careful security and public cleanliness measures” and urged customers to shop in an orderly and civilised way.

Chinese social media users pointed out that shoppers weren’t wearing face masks, indicating that it was filmed before the pandemic. However, according to reports, it was filmed on 9 May though IKEA China hasn’t confirmed this.

In China, whoever film themselves for deliberate public nudity can face up to ten days of administrative detention, while those who upload and spread obscene content online can face up to 15 days detention and a maximum fine of 3,000 yuan (RM1,838).
