Win 2 Pairs of Urbanscapes 2012 Tickets (Weekend Pass)!
Klang Valley’s leading creative arts festival is turning 10 this year, and they’re going bigger than ever. Spanning 2 days over the weekend, the highlight of the festival is definitely Iceland’s Sigur Rós, whose music was once described by JUICE Editor Ben Liew as the sound of John Lennon making love to a whale. We don’t know how apt that description is, but we’ve been a fan of the noise that particular interspecies copulation generates for some time now. Urbanscapes isn’t all music of course, Lithuanian-born Penang arts it-boy Ernest Zacharevic will be unveiling his art project done specially for the event. Comedian Shelah will update you on the latest local stereotypes in jest. Spoken word will prove itself alive and well in KL. And Kontak! and themancalleduncle get all trippy with their architectural audiovisual performance. That’s a handful of going-ons happening on the 2 days, it’s no wonder that the festival will be divided to a whopping 5 stages.
Still haven’t gotten your grubby hands on tickets to Urbanscapes? Well we got 2 pairs of weekend passes up for grabs!
