This coming 16 December, Indonesia’s celebrated soul and funk band Maliq & D’Essentials are performing their first free-standing concert in Kuala Lumpur @ KL Live! The band transcends manmade boundaries and had had their music heard all over Asia, winning accolades not only from Indonesia’s AMI Awards and MTV Indonesia Awards, but Singapore’s Planet Muzik Awards and MTV Asia as well. It’s obvious with such recognition, Maliq & D’Essentials have a fanbase that stretches all over the SEA region, from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore to Brunei.
