What Your Favourite Street Food Says About Your Fashion Sense & Why It Affects You At This Event

Thirsty for JUICE content? Quench your cravings on our Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp

As Malaysians, we’re completely spoiled for choice when it comes to street food, but there are definitely some top personal choices to fit your own palette.

But have you ever wondered what your favourite dish says about your ootd? Read on to see what your favourite street food dish says about your fashion choices.

Curry noodles

Nothing beats a good spicy bowl of curry noodles. It could get pretty messy with all that slurping going on, though. Not to mention the heat!

Your easygoing and chill personality definitely balances out the spice in your appetite, and that’s why you’re a no fuss kind of person who reaches for the most stylish T-Shirt in your wardrobe.

Fried noodles

When it comes to this dish, the options for toppings are unlimited – coriander, prawns, or even a simple fried egg. Take your pick! This level of customisation adds a layer of mystery and flexibility in your fried noodles. What could be in yours?

To add to that curiosity, a bucket hat is your most worn accessory. As with fried noodles, any weather is suitable for this choice of clothing item. Be it a cold thunderstorm, or the scorching hot Malaysian sun, you’re prepped for any situation.

Chicken wings

You’re not afraid to get your hands dirty, and you’re shameless in the process. Chomping down on those wings definitely could get messy as your fingers are coated in your sauce of preference.

With all that arm action going on, you’ll want to distract everyone by flexing some bling on your wrists. A classic bracelet is what you reach for to avert glaring eyes. Hey, might as well look good doing it right?

Pork noodles

Best enjoyed on a cold rainy day to warm you up from the inside out, this dish is a personal favourite of mine from the list. Unfortunately, it gets pretty humid in this country when it rains.

That’s why you’d grab your best oversized long sleeve shirt to stay warm and breezy at the same time. Don’t forget to roll up the sleeves before you enjoy your pork noodles for the full effect!

Claypot chicken rice

This one tastes like home –  a hot steaming serving of claypot chicken rice is just the hearty meal you need to experience a hug from the inside.

A cozy sweatshirt gives off the same vibe and shows everyone that you like to be comfortable, even when devouring your favourite street food.

Chicken rice

Ah, a classic, quick meal in between lunch breaks at the office or classes at college. A plate of chicken rice is pretty much the staple for a meal when everyone says, “Anything lah!

Can’t you just picture yourself munching on some chicken rice on a warm afternoon with a classic T-shirt? Enjoy this staple street food option while looking cool and casual at the same time!
