Keanu Reeves has done a lot of projects that became fan favourites, especially his stuff from the 90s and early 2000s e.g The Matrix, Speed, etc. Now, the youngins know him as an assassin that could kill three men in a bar with a pencil.

31 years ago, before he mastered his Russian and gun-slinging game, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter’s band, Wyld Stallyns saved the world in 1989’s cult classic Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and fought evil robots of themselves in 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Adventure.

I’m usually apprehensive when it comes to sequels and remakes, especially when the first film was made 31 years ago and the second one 29 years ago. I could list all the terrible remakes and sequels, but that’s for another time. However, after watching the teaser trailer for the third instalment, titled Bill & Ted Face The Music, I’m pretty excited about it.

There is enough content to see the tone and the wacky adventures the duo will have – meeting future people, air guitar with Death itself and alternate versions of themselves who are jacked up convicts. Honestly, after all that, count me in!

Bill & Ted Face The Music is written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon, starring Keanu Reeves as Ted and Alex Winter as Bill and directed by Dean Parisot. The film is set to release in 2020.

As Bill and Ted once say, “Be excellent to each other. And party on, dudes!”
