In an experimental art project, Brazilian graphic designer Alvaro Franca developed a technique for creating grayscale images on a typewriter. Utilising this unique and tedious method, Alvaro creates unique portraits of five of his favourite authors in literature who worked on typewriters. His current works have resulted in stellar portraits of Charles H.Bukowski, Jose Saramago, J.D Salinger,Jack Kerouac, and Clarice Lispector. According to Alvaro, this is an ongoing series with five more portraits in the work.
