The latest video in Brass Brothers Films’ Making Art series, titled Perspective, features Brooklyn-based artist Zaria Forman and her large-scale pastel paintings that document Earth’s shifting landscape and the effects of progressive climate change. Her ideas and inspirations are mainly drawn from her mother’s fine art photography of remote landscapes around the world while they were travelling during her early childhood — and now the same topic is beautifully explored in pastel colours by Forman. Her enigmatic and beautiful works have found ways into the set design for House of Cards, as well as being exhibited throughout various galleries in the United States and overseas.
