In a collaborative effort between Japanese projection mapping specialist Nobumichi Asai, makeup artist Hiroto Kuwahara, and French digital image engineer Paul Lacroix, OMOTE was created. An experimentation into the exploration of facial reconstruction and digital manipulation of facial surface, the project allowed us to peek into the possibilities of what the future has in store for us (even though this might not be the point of the project). With almost limitless potential from facial projection mapping, it’s only a matter of time before Mystique-like abilities are harnessed by the Illuminati to purge non-believers and start a new world order.
