A year ago, in order to promote the EPL games, NBC Sports teamed up with the hilarious Jason Sudeikis for a short video where an American football coach — Ted Lasso (played by Sudeikis) — was hired to coach Tottenham. The result was an incredibly funny foray into the obliviousness of Americans about football (of the rest of the world variety, not American), especially with the basic rules and general differences. After being fired in the first video, Coach Lasso returns to us again, but this time we get to see his life after Tottenham. Check out the video below as Coach Lasso continues to try to grasp the concept of ‘offside’ and ‘relegation’:
