Vans Teams Up With BAPE For First-Ever Joint Collection, Here’s How You Can Get It

Ever since I was a kid, Vans shoes were the epitome of cool. Whether it’s hitting the mall with friends, or a Raya open house, rockin’ Sk8-Hi on your feet would make you feel like the coolest cat there, and for good reason.

For the first time ever, the revered American footwear and apparel brand is teaming up with Japanese label BAPE (of Shark Hoodie & BAPE STA fame) for a collection that continues this distinct legacy.

Featuring the signature BAPE Camo design language, the Vans Sk8-Hi 38 DX gets a radical makeover, which would signal to others that you’re not here to playing around when it comes to drip.

Alongside this, the two brands are also dropping a special edition of the Vans Authentic 44 DX, for a more understated-cool look. Definitely an instant collectors’ piece not to be missed.

Both sneakers come with custom camo tongue labels and a new ‘statement red’ waffle outsole, to give it an eye-catching, elevated touch of class.

Rounding out the collection is a sweet hoodie that stays true to the BAPE heritage, with a distinct Vans twist.

The front of the piece features the logos of both brands prominently on the right breast, while the back has BAPE’s iconic camo print with the Vans logo plastered right through the middle.

Best of all, it comes in either Black or Heather Grey, so you can pick which one best fits your daily rotation.

The collection is expected to drop in-store at Vans retailers nationwide on 13 November, before being available at the KLCC Bape store and BAPE.com on the 29th.

If you missed the physical drop, you can also try your luck on Vans.com from 30 November onwards.

For more information, keep it locked on Vans’ official The Drop List, or their official social media channels.
