The sole female in the competition, Faith Angela is that rare female DJ who bouts it out with the boys in DJ contests. Ain’t just another pretty face, she intends to show that girls do it better. While it remains to be seen if she can indeed do it better, Faith is indubitably the hardest working DJ around. Really, she gave up her day job to become a full time DJ, that is how dedicated and passionate she is in the art. Faith plays breakbeats, electronica, electro, and funky house.

“Freshest, baddest, and flyest DJ comp right now.”

Johorean DJ NashD started young. He joined Astro Spinmaster Season 1 at the tender age of 17, emerging in the top 4 among other more experienced DJs. Official DJ for Singaporean rapper ShiGGA Shay, NashD is obviously enamoured with hip hop. But he knows what’s up in a club setting, infusing club mix (mostly electro house) with good ol’ turntablism when the time calls for it. NashD is currently the resident DJ of Singapore’s Bar Cocoon.

TATSURO (@tatsuromiller)
Third culture kid, Japanese-Malaysian Tatsuro, makes music for the advertising world by day (he’s the Creative Director of a leading audio studio) and moonlights as a DJ-cum-producer whenever he has the time. But he ain’t no armchair DJ, Tatsuro has played alongside the likes of DJ Shortkut, Maseo, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad. Like most of the DJs who joined Thre3Style, Tatsuro is a hip hopper at heart. However the EDM explosion has gotten him into dancier genres. Tatsuro is currently the title holder of Best Turntablist in Malaysian DJ Battle 2012.

TIPSY HAN (@tipsyhan)
“Pushing creativity with audience in mind – quality party rocking!”

26 year old Tipsy Han started DJing only a few years ago when he was 22. Despite that he’s won Malaysian Club Mixing DJ Championship 2011 and a member of Boys in Tha Hood DJs collective. With expertise in hip hop, dubstep, and complextro, Tipsy Han is in tune with grimy urban flavours of electronic music.
