Two Policemen ‘Kantoi’ Partying with Ketamine & 12 Other People in Luxury KL Condo
It seems like some “bad apples” have not learnt their lesson as two more officers were caught at a house party in a luxury condo at Changkat Raja Chulan in Kuala Lumpur.
According to Malay Mail, two policemen – a lance corporal and an extra police constable – were among 14 individuals detained by the police after they were believed to have attended the wild gathering on Saturday (18 Sept).
Kuala Lumpur Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department chief ACP Sahar Abd Latif said the seven men and seven women aged between 20 and 40 who were arrested in the 9.30pm operation were also positive for ketamine.
He said police also found ketamine drugs weighing about 5.56 grams estimated to be worth RM834.
“The organiser of the wild party is a 39-year-old man, and visitors are invited to attend via phone call by the organiser at a luxury condominium rented for RM220 a day,” he said in a statement today (21 Sept).
All the partygoers were issued a compound of RM4,000 each for violating the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the National Recovery Plan (NRP).
This isn’t the first time police were caught partying in a pandemic. Two months ago, four police officers were arrested for throwing a wild party at Kajang station with karaoke, women and drugs.
And earlier this month, thirteen police personnel, including a policewoman, were arrested for partying at a nightclub. Also arrested in the incident at Bandar Puchong Jaya were firemen, a soldier and a large group of civilians.
Back in February, Perak’s narcotics criminal investigation department arrested six policemen at a wild party too.
