Now you’re probably wondering what the hell happened here? Apparently, Rembau Forever daddy.. we mean, Rembau MP Khairy Jamaluddin sat alone on the opposition bench after fellow MPs walked out of the Dewan Rakyat in protest over the new speaker, former Court of Appeal judge Mohamad Ariff Md Yusof.

They said they were dissatisfied with the choice of candidate as the appointment process was not transparent and a point of order was raised by Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan (PAS-Kota Baru) when Datuk Roosme Hamzah, the Dewan Rakyat secretary, read out the motion proposing Mohamad Ariff as the sole candidate. While they all went out for some tea (literally – just look at the pic below), only KJ and Kimanis MP Datuk Seri Anifah Aman remained in the Dewan.

 

While most netizens praised KJ for being matured regarding this whole situation and respecting the rules by staying put, naughty Twitter users had took the image and created.. you guessed it – memes!
