Anime and DC Comics anyone?

Fans of the Dark Knight have known this since October this year when clips were shown at New York Comic Con – Batman will be appearing in his first Japanese-themed, full length anime film, Batman Ninja.

Batman Ninja revolves around a time-travelling Batman who goes back to feudal Japan to battle his eternal nemesis, The Joker. The trailer just dropped earlier and there’s an English subtitled-version which you may checkout below:

Props go up to story writer Kazuki Nakashima (Kill La Kill) and character designer Takashi Okazaki (Afro Samurai) who, from what we can tell from the trailer, did an amazing job bringing out the supporting cast of characters like Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Nightwing and Robin.

Batman Ninja will be out on DVD and Blu-ray next year.
