As runner, it’s easy to get bored of the same ol’ routine. We’re pretty sure you’ve done almost every marathon there is out there, so how about a challenge on another level?
Enter Mad Warrior, where true fitness fighters go to great lengths in the name of being super fit and healthy. Seriously.
The team behind Mad Warrior has been running the Mad Tour since April, and will end it on a very high note with the Madness Challenge that is happening in November. Setting up fitness courses that are pretty crazy, you can bet your glutes this will be a new challenge to any fitness freak.
For starters, the SPRINT challenge is 5 kilometres with 20 obstacles that participants have to go through and dang it’s challenging! We’ve compiled the itinerary and some photos for you to check out:
As crazy as it looks, remember, the SPRINT challenge is the moderate challenge among the three options provided by Mad Warrior. If you think you posses the strength of Hercules, then this is for you…
Although it’s a challenge, expect some kind-hearted souls to give you a little push, especially when climbing the walls.
Don’t worry, all that screaming pain ends with a reward that’s super cool. Participants will get these cool, custom-made medals that are designed specially for the event. Check them out below:
Mad Warrior’s challenges are a literal take on what “No pain, no gain” means, so even if you’re a pro, you might need to train ahead for this. The obstacles are indeed unconventional and somewhat crazy, no scratch that… they are CRAZY! But like all social gatherings in sports, it’s all about coming together, and doing and sharing what you love (and maybe winning something along the way).
So how ’bout it? Do you have what it takes to be Mad Warrior? If you think you’re up for a challenge, then sign up now with your friends ’cause in the end, all the blood, sweat and tears will be worth it. Guaranteed.
