Mark your calendars for 20 October, because Rockaway Festival 2012′s stellar international line-up will have you soiling your pants. Featuring metalcore phenomenon, Unearth; MxPx All Stars; and legendary heavy metal band Soulfly, a rock fest doesn’t get any heavier than that! To match the headliners are the current confirmed local acts, which include Love Me Butch, Massacre, Bunkface, I, Revival, The Padangs and Go Gerila. There will also be a special The WKND Sessions stage that will feature stripped down music showcases of the Malaysian indie scene that’s not to be missed.

With Rockaway Festival 2012 just a month away, JUICE thought we should do our part in helping you guys — especially those outside of Kuala Lumpur — out with some preparation. We’re not just gonna give away tickets, we’re giving you guys transportation, accommodations, meet & greet session, and merchandises!

With that epic of a prize list, we aren’t going to make this easy for you guys. This isn’t just another Q&A, to be a winner, you need to prove yourself as a rocker. Submit a photo of yourself in a getup that best resembles your favourite rock band’s genre or fashion sense to us. 5 winners, from North, South, Central, East, and West of the Peninsular respectively, will be chosen. And get this, all entries will be judged by 1 of the 3 headliners. Yes, you read that right, MxPx, Soulfly, or Unearth will be judging your photo, so don’t half-ass this!

Email your photo in before Thursday 4 October 2012 along with your full name, IC, the rock act/genre you’re representing, state and handphone number with the subject ‘Rockaway Festival 2012’ to [email protected]. Winners will be notified after being chosen via phone.
