The New Hellboy Looks Big and Scary AF!

As much as we miss Ron Perlman as Hellboy, that responsibility now lies on Stranger Things’ David Harbour in the upcoming Hellboy reboot. We got a peek into how the film would look like when the posters were released recently, and now we’ve got a full trailer.

The trailer doesn’t exactly get us thrilled, but it’s certainly got us interested because it’s tonally different than Guillermo del Toro’s Hellboy film series. It’s more upbeat and comedic, like a mashup of Deadpool‘s violence and Guardians of the Galaxy‘s humour.

The new look stays true to the comic book–more brawny and devilish than Perlman’s big softie version that was perhaps a more suitable design for audiences back in 2004. With the reboot make good on its storyline and action? Well, let’s check it out before we give it a ‘hell yeah!’ rating.
