There’s a new reason to swing by Section 13 in PJ now, and it’s got nothing to do with groceries.
Goodday Milk has unveiled The Goodday Milk Factory, a five-acre industrial site turned laid-back community playground. You might be inclined to think it’s just another shiny lifestyle concept, but the place has been designed from the ground up to be a proper third space.
It’s somewhere you can drop by before work, linger after dinner, or spend a relaxing Sunday with loved ones.
Old industrial bones intact

Remnants of the former factory that the space sits on still linger, and that’s precisely the point. Instead of scrubbing away the past, The Goodday Milk Factory has kept the site’s grit and character intact, resulting with an open, breathable, and refreshingly unpretentious space.
You’ve got splashes of cow-inspired murals dotted around, and they’ve been playfully reworked into bold, expressive patches that add a bit of personality to the raw backdrop. It’s authentically Goodday while still preserving the building’s past.

Behind the project is Lotus Capital, working alongside Etika Sdn. Bhd. to translate Goodday Milk’s “Healthy Living Made Easy” ethos into something tangible.
“Rather than creating a polished, perfect environment, we embraced the character of the space,” says Amy Gan, Vice President of Marketing at Etika Sdn. Bhd. “Its authenticity reflects our belief that wellbeing is built through real connections, everyday habits, and shared experiences.”
So what can you actually do at The Goodday Milk Factory? Quite a lot, it seems.

If you’re a fitness enthusiast or just like keeping in shape, there’s a HYROX-affiliated studio by Backyard Training. But if pickleball is more your thing, there are also community courts run by The Backyard Pickleball.
If you’re looking for a bite to eat, thankfully there’s a Nasi Lemak Burung Hantu outlet in the same space, as well as other homegrown favourites. Plus, Etika’s beverage portfolio, which includes Goodday Milk, Pepsi, and Wonda, flows throughout the venue.
The space also doubles as a flexible venue for social gatherings, brand activations, as well as neighbourhood events. This makes The Goodday Milk Factory a true third space instead of a one-off destination.
“Conceived in alignment with Visit Malaysia 2026, Visit Selangor 2026, and the growing momentum around placemaking initiatives, this project reflects our belief in creating spaces that are approachable, vibrant, and rooted in community,” says Karthiik R. Doraisingam, Managing Director of Lotus Capital.
