Teacher Who Made Rape “Joke” Being Investigated By Police, Placed At Selangor Education Department

Police and the Education Ministry have taken action against the SMK Puncak Alam teacher who allegedly made a rape joke in class. He is now under the investigation of the police and awaits for the outcome after being placed at the Selangor Education Department.

According to The Vibes, the ministry has confirmed that a student lodged a police report on the issue on April 24 and further action will be determined once the investigation of the teacher is completed.

Earlier this week, victim of the rape joke and activist, Ain Husniza was threatened with expulsion for not attending school for three days.

As reported in same article by The Vibes, the ministry added that warning letters on attendance are issued to students who do not show up for class for three straight days or 10 non-consecutive days without reason provided in writing to their schools and teachers, and are recorded in the Sistem Sahsiah Diri Murid (Student Discipline System).
