Sunset By NEON Goes Full Global Techno For Chapter Two

Genting Highlands is set to become the backdrop for another weekend of melodic techno as Sunset By NEON returns for its second chapter on 26 and 27 September 2026.

Running from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. across both days, the two-day festival will bring together international electronic acts, Malaysian DJs, immersive production, and the distinctly cool atmosphere of the highlands.

The festival’s second edition is led by a heavyweight international lineup. Day one will see techno heavyweights Enrico Sangiuliano and MORTEN take the spotlight, while day two will feature a Time Machine takeover led by Agents of Time, alongside Yotto, Rivo, and SLVR.

They will be joined by Malaysian talent including Victor G, CXW, Boriz B2B Wesufo, MTR, and Dora.

The festival will also mark Malaysian debuts for Yotto, Enrico Sangiuliano, Agents of Time, SLVR, and MORTEN, adding another layer to Sunset By NEON’s growing reputation for bringing international electronic music names to Genting Highlands.

French DJ and producer Rivo arrives with a sound built around atmospheric melodies and hypnotic grooves. His remix of Disclosure’s “You & Me” helped propel him onto the global electronic music circuit, amassing hundreds of millions of streams.

Finnish producer Yotto, meanwhile, has become a familiar name within the melodic house and techno scene through releases on Anjunadeep. Tracks such as ‘The One You Left Behind’ and ‘Hyperfall’ showcase his atmospheric approach while retaining plenty of dancefloor energy.

Italian techno heavyweight Enrico Sangiuliano will make his Malaysian debut with his trademark driving sound. Among his best-known work is his collaboration with Charlotte de Witte on ‘The Age Of Love’, which reached the top of Beatport’s charts, as well as his own ‘The Techno Code’.

Also making their first appearance in Malaysia are Italian duo Agents of Time.

Andrea Di Ceglie and Luigi Tutolo have built their reputation around hardware-led performances that move between melodic house, techno, and live improvisation. Their releases ‘Dream Vision’ and ‘Paradigm’ on Afterlife helped cement their place within the international electronic scene.

Joining them is fellow Italian producer SLVR, whose career spans more than a decade. His recent work has explored the melodic techno space, including ‘Music 4 Ur Body’, while his remix of Sangiuliano’s “The Techno Code” ties his set into the festival’s techno-heavy programming.

Rounding out the international headliners is Danish DJ and producer MORTEN, one of the key figures behind the Future Rave sound developed with David Guetta. Known for tracks including ‘Never Be Alone’, ‘Dreams’, and ‘Lucky’, MORTEN has also appeared at major festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra, and EDC Las Vegas.

Of course, the setting is a major part of the Sunset By NEON experience.

Rather than placing the festival in a conventional urban venue, Chapter Two takes over the elevated surroundings of Genting Highlands, where cooler temperatures, greenery, and mountain views become part of the festival atmosphere.

Across the two days, visitors can expect a combination of food and drink offerings, premium spaces, immersive visual production, and plenty of room to settle into the weekend with friends.

The festival runs from sunset through to 3:00 a.m., with its programming designed around the transition from daylight into the late-night hours. At the centre of it all is Sunset By NEON’s own philosophy: “You Are Exactly Where You Belong.”

Two-day General Admission passes are currently 60% sold and priced at RM348, while VIP two-day passes are 70% sold at RM788.

Sunset By NEON Chapter Two takes place on 26 and 27 September 2026 at Genting Highlands, Malaysia, running from 4:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. each day.
