If you’ve ever wanted to lose yourself in music that lifts you, stirs something deep inside, and makes the sunset feel like part of the show, then block your calendar for 20 and 21 September 2025. Sunset by NEON is back, and this year, it’s shaping up to be Malaysia’s most unmissable music weekend yet.

The music festival will highlight rising stars and seasoned veterans of the melodic techno scene. If you don’t know what melodic techno is, it’s basically music that blends atmosphere, storytelling, and rhythm into a journey.

And NEON, now in its 10th year of curating unforgettable experiences, has turned this genre into something Malaysia can truly call its own.

This year’s headliners read like a who’s who of global electronic music royalty:

  • Adam Beyer: the Drumcode legend and a titan of techno will bring decades of precision and euphoric energy. If you’ve seen him at Tomorrowland or Awakenings, you know exactly why his name tops the bill.
  • Massano: one of the fastest-rising stars of melodic techno, Massano is set to deliver a cinematic journey of futuristic beats and Afterlife-ready anthems.
  • Argy: an Ibiza favourite with a knack for hypnotic, genre-blurring sets, Argy will be there to take the crowd deep into house and techno’s heart.
  • Korolova: The Ukrainian breakout sensation is guaranteed to bring her signature mix of euphoric melodies and raw emotion.
  • KREAM: the Norwegian brothers whose billion-stream success and LIQUID : LAB series prove they know exactly how to turn beautiful spaces into unforgettable experiences.
  • Indo Warehouse: an electrifying dose of South Asian-inspired house and techno, straight from New York’s most exciting underground collective.
  • Kasia: expect nothing but fresh and atmospheric sounds from Polish-born, London-based Kasia.

A new home in Genting Highlands

Sunset by NEON 2025 will be held at Resorts World Awana in Genting Highlands, a secluded outdoor space surrounded by lush greenery and mountain views.

Imagine dancing to world-class DJs as the temperature drops to a cool 18°C, the sky shifts to orange and purple, and the bass reverberates through the hills. It’s the kind of setting that makes music hit differently.
