Pet-owners rejoice!

Music-streaming platform Spotify has recently launched a playlist catered specifically to those of us with furry, feathered and even scaly companions we sometimes choose to call family (talk about progressive!).

Whether canine, feline or reptile, the company had this to say regarding their reason for creating a pet-friendly playlist of tunes:

“There is something uniquely special about the relationship we humans have with our pets—it’s one filled with unconditional love, licks, snuggles, and cuddles. It’s hard to put into words the emotion these animals give us—other than pure happiness. So it’s only natural that we want to make them feel good, too, and many pet owners believe they do exactly that with music.”

Through ample research and data collection, Spotify has managed to concoct the purrfect list of songs through an algorithm based on the different choices and preferences you select, which would then be added into a playlist tailored for your beloved little critter(s).
