Skate, Food, and Roll @ Skate Sahur by Sibling Skateboards

Sibling Skateboards is still keeping skate culture alive in Malaysia, even during the Ramadhan month. After the success of their Roll Up Tour, JUICE wondered what was next for these guys. Turns out recently they held a “Skate Sahur” event last Saturday 4 August at KL’s famous street skate spot, dubbed The Curb, at KLCC. Beginning from 10pm to the wee hours of the morning at 5am, the event nevertheless saw over 300 skaters from all over the Peninsular — Terengganu, Kuantan, Kedah, Johor, and of course, Kuala Lumpur.

A true street-based skateboard gathering, Sibling Skateboards used 4 flood lights to brighten the selected corners of KLCC. And yes, this is still a sahur event, participants were provided with nasi lemak and a free flow of cordial drinks all night long, which hopefully would have fueled them enough to fast the next day. Check out a video recap below.

Skate Sahur was supported by Sibling Skateboards, DC Shoes, and Red Bull Malaysia. Follow these skate siblings on their Facebook here or check out their site here.
