Sirap Limau Launches Initiative To Guide Malaysians Towards Their Dream Careers

Sirap Limau has just kicked off a nationwide campaign that wants to change the way Malaysians think about work, ambition, and life after school.
Titled Next Stop: Kerjaya!, the campaign runs from 1 July to 31 August 2025, and it’s built for anyone wondering what comes next: SPM leavers, fresh grads, job seekers, or even those looking to switch paths entirely.
It’s a call to stop letting exam results define your worth, and instead start carving out a career that actually fits who you are. That goes for everyone, including persons with disabilities, who often get shut out of conversations around job opportunities. And in a climate where job scams are getting more common, the campaign is also pushing for better awareness and smarter choices.
“Cipta Jalan, Bina Masa Depan (Create Your Path, Shape Your Future) is more than just a tagline. It’s a mindset,” says Nurul Halifah Hamiruddin, Sirap Limau’s Head of Editorial Content. “We want to give people actual tools, not just inspiration.”
To do that, they’ve launched a campaign website loaded with articles, infographics, and videos produced in collaboration with experts from platforms like Coursera and Jobstreet. Everything is presented in accessible language, shaped by voices that young Malaysians can actually relate to.

The campaign is structured around three phases:
1. Pit Stop Kerjaya
This first phase brings the spotlight to everyday stories. Think video interviews with people who’ve built fulfilling careers on their own terms, vox pops from the public, and articles that don’t pretend there’s one perfect route to success. It’s about showing the messy, real side of career building.
2. Suara Pencari Kerja
This phase opens the floor to the community, especially job seekers. Sirap Limau’s Facebook page will feature posts on two key issues: inclusive career opportunities for PWDs and rising job scams. People are encouraged to share their experiences so others can learn from them. There’s also a special episode of Realiti, a podcast on Sirap Limau’s YouTube channel, featuring a forensic expert who worked on a world-famous case, tracing his journey from kampung kid to crime scene veteran.
3. Destinasi SPM
The final phase zeroes in on this year’s SPM students. Facebook posts will invite the public to share memories, tips, and words of encouragement for candidates preparing for one of the most stressful exams in Malaysian student life. It’s less about preaching and more about connection—showing that everyone has their own route, and that’s okay.
Campaign Manager Nurul Nadzirah Roselan says selected commenters on Sirap Limau’s three key posts—inclusive careers, job scam awareness, and SPM preparation, could win special gifts and be featured on the official website. “It’s our way of saying your story matters.”
Talk Show: Cerita SPM Kita
One of the highlights of the campaign will be Cerita SPM Kita, a live talk show happening on 20 August. Hosted by KOOL 101’s Muaz Mohamed, the show brings together three special guests: a straight-A student from the 2024 SPM cohort, a TV personality, and a politician with a colourful past. Expect stories of failure, confusion, and detours, not just clean-cut success.
The event will be livestreamed on Sirap Limau’s TikTok and held in front of 30 specially invited SPM candidates at Media Prima HQ.

Booth Activation with TalentLabs
To wrap things up, Sirap Limau will join the 2025 Career Fair by TalentLabs on 23 and 24 August. The booth will be a space to meet, learn, and maybe even take that first real step toward your next job. Whether you’re looking to network or just curious, the team’s showing up for real conversations.
Sirap Limau is starting a movement, one that says success doesn’t come from a straight line or a perfect transcript. It comes from trying, failing, learning, and trying again.
