Police Seize RM7 Million Worth Of Meth From Crashed Car In Subang Jaya

Over RM7 million worth of methamphetamine was uncovered in a car that crashed at SS17, Subang Jaya on 13 August.
According to Subang Jaya district police chief ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, officers were alerted to a road accident involving a Honda Civic at 11.30 a.m.
When they arrived, the driver was nowhere to be found. A search of the vehicle revealed 11 sacks containing 208 plastic packets of suspected methamphetamine weighing around 220kg.
Investigations led police to identify a suspect, 32-year-old Mohd Rahmat Hanafi from Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, after his identity card was discovered inside the car. Checks showed he has 15 previous criminal and drug-related records.
The vehicle was also found to be using fake registration plates.
Police are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage of the crash to contact Insp Mohamad Saifullah Rosdi at 017-9065674 or head to the nearest police station.
