Every year, the world pauses to celebrate the achievements of fellow women in society. Regardless of their occupation, sexuality or social standing, all women around the world deserve to feel appreciated for all the work they have done to nourish the future generation.

International Women’s Day highlights this and honours the pioneers who have broken through the glass ceiling. But pioneers aren’t the only ones who deserve love and praise. The average everyday woman deserves this too.

In conjunction with International Women’s Day, AIA is showing support by partnering and donating to the NGO Women of Will foundation that will help empower disadvantaged women across Malaysia.

You can support the cause by posting a photo of an amazing woman in your life and explaining why you chose her in the caption. Just make sure your profile is public and tag @AIAMalaysia with the hashtags #AIAMalaysia and #AIAStrongerTogether.

The person in the photo can either be cooking, dancing, taking care of their pet or anything that exudes their energy. Tag three of your friends in the post as well to spread the word for the cause.

With every post from 8 to 26 March 2021, AIA Malaysia will donate RM10 to the Women of Will foundation to help continue their work in empowering disadvantaged women in Malaysia, their families and their communities.
