Pakatan Harapan women’s wing leaders have filed a police report against Prime Minister Tan Sri Mahiaddin Yassin, claiming that he misled and lied to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

Chief and vice chief, Senator Aiman Athirah Al Jundi and Wasanthee Sinnasamy, of the political party stated the suspicions in a joint declaration.

They commented that the numbers of supporters listed by PM Mahiaddin are false and stated that 115 MPs have collectively refused his leadership as the position of prime minister, and 107 MPs from the opposition party, along with 8 from UMNO have announced that they have growing concerns in Mahiaddin’s leadership.

Therefore, they have come to the conclusion there is a possibility that his statement on still having the majority, declared during his audience with the king on Wednesday, was a fake declaration.

The PM said in the live broadcast that he would put this to the test in September.

A number of opposition MPs have also made claims that the delay in calling for a Parliament vote was to attract support from defectors after Mahiaddin refused to reveal his list of supporters.

The chief and vice chief of Parti Amanah Negara Wanita are demanding for there to be an investigation conducted against Mahiaddin. The police report was made at 8pm on Wednesday at Gombak district police headquarters.
