Independent outfit Jetcetera is stepping into the spotlight with their long awaited debut album, PERANTARA, which just dropped today, 28 November 2025.

It’s a 13-track release that wears its heart on its sleeve and shows off the band’s full emotional and musical vocabulary.

Produced by Megat Fazly of Mafidz and backed by MyCreative Ventures together with the Ministry of Communications, PERANTARA shapes a sound that is both assured and unguarded. The record leans into warm melodies and layered arrangements, stitched together by themes of longing, vulnerability, and the quiet ache of unsaid words.

True to its name, PERANTARA means orang tengah or ‘the middle person’ in Malay, and the album positions itself as a bridge between two souls. It speaks in a soft language for anyone who has felt too much and said too little. Each track nods to the courage it takes to finally articulate what has been simmering beneath the surface.

The album stands as a defining chapter for the band, a clear show of emotional depth and artistic growth that cements Jetcetera as one of the more compelling acts moving through Malaysia’s independent music landscape.

PERANTARA is now available on all major streaming platforms, with physical editions and exclusive merchandise set to follow.

To celebrate the release, Jetcetera will also host a PERANTARA Album Launch Party on 13 December 2025 at Uranus Studio KL. Check them out on Spotify for more!
