Authorities are currently tracking down a man believed to have caused a 3-year-old boy to test positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine, Bernama reported.

According to Nilai police chief Supt Mohd Fazley Ab Rahman, they received an alarming report from a doctor at Tunku Azizah Kuala Lumpur Hospital (women and paediatric ward) regarding a urine test performed on a young boy three days ago.

After initial investigation, the boy was found to be taken care of by his stepfather.

The boy was apparently behaving oddly which was what initiated the mother to send him to the hospital for treatment.

During that time, he tested positive for the hard drugs.

The investigation is still ongoing.
