PDRM Arrests Indonesian Man Who Allegedly Killed & Drank The Blood of Several Men
Police have arrested a man who uploaded video footage on social media in which he claimed to have killed several Acehnese men and drank their blood, Bernama reported.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Datuk Fadzil Ahmat said the 31-year-old Indonesian man was arrested at 5:30pm yesterday in Tanjung Sepat, Kuala Langat.
The suspect was arrested after uploading a 59-second clip that was detected by police on Monday, which spread on WhatsApp, he said in a statement today.
According to Fadzil, a day before the arrest, police arrested an Indonesian man that was suspected of beating the suspect, and believed to be angry over the suspect’s provocation in the video that was spread.
“Police also received a report from the public claiming to have seen a riot involving several men believed to be Indonesians in Taman Selat Damai, Pandaraman, Klang,” he said.
Following that, police arrested of an Indonesian man in his 30s who was suspected to be involved in the riot, at 11pm in South Klang last Tuesday.
He said before the arrest, a viral 25-second clip appeared online showing a group of individuals beating up a man who claims to have killed and drank the blood of a group of Acehnese men.
Fadzil said his team are still on the hunt for several more people who were involved in the riot. The two men, who did not have valid travel documents are remanded for 14 days starting today.
The case is being investigated under Section 147 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act and Section 51(5) of the Immigration Act 19959/63.
