OFF! is angry, just look at that exclamation mark in their name! The side-project of Black Flag’s Keith Morris, OFF! consists of him and 3 other grumpy angry old men of hard rock. Their self-titled debut is the musical equivalent of The Expendables, just less embarrassing.

Their previous EPs (collected as The First Four EPs 2 years ago) already proved that Morris still has the chops to be as stinging and righteously angry as the best of Black Flag’s early records. With this latest release, the band maintains much of the same but that’s not slight, as long as Morris has reason to scream, we should listen. Or get on with the times and cop Death Grips’ The Money Store instead.
