Chinese New Year is a time for family reunions, food, and reflection in welcoming a prosperous year ahead. Whether it be lanterns hanging from doorways, spectacular dragons or lions brought to life by dancers, or those tiny red envelopes containing gifts, prosperity and good fortune are represented everywhere. As many of us would take the opportunity to purchase gold during this auspicious time of year for the purpose of gift-giving or personal investment, why not try to win some?
In true spirit of the Lunar New Year, ARA Asset Management Limited is going for gold as they recently announced their biggest Chinese New Year campaign to date: ‘Golden Prosperity’. ARA’s malls – Klang Parade, Ipoh Parade, 1 Mont Kiara and CITTA Mall – will be spreading good fortune by giving away over RM200,000 worth of prizes and redemption premiums to big spenders.
The highlight of this campaign will be its final challenge at Klang Parade on 17th February 2019, where four winners will be rewarded with gold bars at the end of a series of challenges. Ka-ching! Now that’s a proper way to spoil your customers.
All you have to do to participate is go through these three stages:
1. Stage 1 (19 Jan – 9 Feb)
Shop at any of ARA’s malls – Klang Parade, Ipoh Parade, 1 Mont Kiara, CITTA Mall – and be among the Top 9 spenders from 19th January – 9th February (selected weekly) to qualify for Stage 2. Each mall will select 9 top spenders, making 36 the total number of top spenders who proceed to the next round across all four malls.
2. Stage 2 (10 Feb)
The shortlisted 9 top spenders for each mall will dash for prizes at the ‘Supermarket Rush’ on 10th February. The Top 3 finalists for this stage at each mall will proceed to the final round, making it 12 finalists who will compete for gold at Klang Parade.
3. Stage 3 (17 Feb)
Finally, it’s the Golden Prosperity Final Challenge at Klang Parade! This time round, you will need to succeed in a series of challenges to win the gold bars. All finalists will walk home with amazing prizes from their sponsors too!

Four gold bars are up for grabs, but only one of these is the coveted 100gm gold bar. If that’s not enough, Boost (the official e-wallet for the campaign) will extend RM1,500 worth of credits to each of the 12 finalists at the grand finale.
