M’sian Actress Uqasha Senrose Caught With 53 Pills of ‘Fai’ After Accident
Yesterday, rumours were circulating around social media platforms regarding a local celebrity, Uqasha Senrose who had been apprehended for drug possession at Taman Tun Dato’ Ismail. Through a WhatsApp conversation, you could read her entire report regarding the case.
Last night, it was confirmed that the rumours were indeed true when Harian Metro reported it. It was stated that Uqasha was in the car when she was involved in a minor accident in a housing area. The other driver in the involved accident suspected that she was on drugs and made their way to the nearest police station.
In a statement released on Sunday, city police chief Comm Datuk Seri Mazlan Lazim said the actress was granted bail after she was picked up.
“A police team made the arrest at 11.45am at Jalan Burhanuddin Helmi after recieving a tip off. We also seized fifty-three Eramin 5 pills,” he said.
He added that a urine test came back negative, and that the drugs were worth around RM660.
Take a look at the WhatsApp conversation that went viral last night:
While Eramin 5, known by its street name ‘Fai’ or ‘Fai Chai’, is sold as an over-the-counter drug at pharmacies in countries like Japan, it is considered an illegal substance in Malaysia.
Although the case is mainly about drug possession, the plot twist is that it’s not netizens main concern. Instead this tweet sums it up perfectly:
