MetMalaysia Issues Thunderstorm & Strong Wind Warnings Across Several Areas Between 24-30 Nov

MetMalaysia predicts widespread heavy rain, thunderstorms, and strong gusts across the nation through Friday (Nov 25).

Thunderstorms were also anticipated to affect Penang and Sarawak this morning, while the same is forecasted to strike Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah, and Sarawak this evening.

Putrajaya, Melaka, and Labuan were not included in this warning.

Meanwhile, in Pahang, Labuan, and some sites in inland Sabah, thunderstorms are forecast for tonight, with rain also likely in Sabah’s west coast districts as well as Sibu, Kapit, Bintulu, Miri, and Limbang in Sarawak.

On Friday, thunderstorms are anticipated in Sabah’s Kudat, Tawau, and Sandakan. Further, rain is predicted for Sabah, Labuan, Johor, and Melaka. With the exception of Melaka, Labuan, and a few locations in Sarawak, thunderstorms are also forecast across the nation on Friday evening.
