Meme Watch: Spoilers Without Context

We all hate spoilers. But somehow, there is always at least one entitled jerk who will “accidentally” let a spoiler slip out and ruin everyone’s day. Being one of the most anticipated films of the year, audiences wanted to experience the film without any prior information.

The Avengers: Infinity War cast and directors had made moves (including shutting Tom Holland during press interviews) to prevent leaking details of the film before audiences got the chance to watch the film themselves, thus, the start of the hashtag #ThanosDemandsYourSilence on social media.

However, fans that were unable to contain their reaction have found a new way to share their excitement (more like disappointment) without directly exposing anything specific through, you guessed it, memes. These creative folks have taken to Twitter by posting a series of photo sets without any context from the film. So if you’ve seen Infinity War, you will probably chuckle at the references in these photo sets that are so vague, yet oddly specific.
