Malaysian Man Murdered In Rawang For Spreading Friend’s Nude Photos

A man’s body was found buried behind a house in Sungai Choh, Rawang on Saturday, 23 December 2023

According to Sinar Harian, it is believed that the victim was disseminating nude photos of the suspect’s friend.

Gombak district police chief ACP Noor Ariffin Mohamad Nasir revealed that the police have apprehended eight suspects, including five men and three women aged between 19 and 46.

“All eight suspects have been remanded for 13 days, starting from 24 December 2023 until Friday, 5 January 2024, to aid in the ongoing investigation.

“The case has been forwarded to the Selangor Deputy Public Prosecutor, with instructions to charge six suspects. Two of them are facing charges under Section 201 of the Penal Code, read in conjunction with Section 34 of the Penal Code, for tampering with evidence,” said Noor Ariffin.

Five of the eight suspects are being charged under Section 302 of the Penal Code, along with Section 34, for murder

Noor Ariffin went on to say that two other suspects have been released, serving as witnesses for the prosecution.

“All suspects were presented in the Selayang Court yesterday, 4 January.

“The motive behind the incident was dissatisfaction with the distribution of nude photos of the suspect’s friend by the victim,” he added.
