Filling the inimitable shoes of The End after its sad demise in 2009, Den & Centro took up its stead making use of the wall-shaking sound system and altar-like DJ booths. Downstairs, Den (a pleasing anagram for ‘End’) fills its 800-capacity floor with pro clubbers and DJ worshippers while upstairs, Centro is a more intimate gig space. Friday nights see the famed-in-London Popstarz night – a long-standing homage to polysexual electropop.
