You might not have heard of the name LFL (Lo-Fi Losers) — and that’s probably because they are losers so don’t blame yourself — but this DJ-producer duo (Aliff Ashari and Jason Roper) got their mixtape aired on Fly FM’s Five-O as a special guest mix last 2 November.

With a title like Funky Disco Magic Mixtape, their set is a revival of funk and disco through the prism of today’s sonic tastebud. Including Michael Jackson’s classics alongside newer acts like Duck Sauce, and even LFL’s own original production, the mixtape is a good foray into what these guys are all about. Not bad at all for a couple of losers. Check out the mixtape yourself below.
