Datuk Lee Chong Wei & Wife Mew Choo Welcome Third Baby Boy To The Family

Commonly referred to as Badminton’s power couple, former world No 1 Datuk Lee Chong Wei, and his wife, Wong Mew Choo celebrated the birth of their third son, Anson Lee via an Instagram post yesterday.

The 40-year-old published a photo of his wife cradling their son on a hospital bed, while he sat smiling right beside them.

“Welcome, third singles. Much thanks to my lovely wife for all the sacrifices. Mother and son are safe and healthy. Mew Choo, thank you for all your hard work,” he wrote.

The couple has two other sons, Kingston and Terrance.

The post has earned nearly 200,000 likes at the time of writing, with netizens and other badminton players congratulating the pair.

Lee and Wong were wed in 2012 and welcomed Kingston in April 2013. Terrance, on the other hand, was born in July 2015.
