Did you miss out on KRU’s GenKRU concert back in May? Or maybe you were one of the lucky ones who managed to score tickets before they sold out in just an hour? Either way, good news: the legendary group is coming back—bigger, louder, and on an even grander stage.
Mark your calendars, GenKRU The Finale: One More Time will take over the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil on 22 November 2025. Organised by Icon Entertainment, the show is set to pull in 12,000 fans and promises a whole new concert experience.

This comes after KRU’s four-night streak at Axiata Arena earlier this year, which didn’t just sell out but also earned the group spots in the Malaysia Book of Records for ‘Most Shows in a Single Concert Series’ and ‘Most Concert Tickets Sold Out in an Hour.’
One member of the iconic trio, Datuk Norman Abdul Halim said this new show will be on a different scale altogether, thanks to the move from an indoor arena to a massive outdoor stadium.
“We really want to raise the bar because it is such a great honour for us to perform at this venue,” he said. “One of the things agreed (with the organiser) is that the stage, set, and production this time will be much bigger, and with that support we are confident of delivering a stronger performance.”

On top of that, KRU is mixing things up with a refreshed setlist and surprise guest appearances. Norman even teased the possibility of seeing pop queen Anita Sarawak join the show.
“That is one of our goals because she is extraordinary. But I can’t promise anything yet–if it happens, it will be a huge surprise.
“We are aiming for the best. Some artistes are truly great, but they may not have been active for some time.”

While some fans suggested taking the concert outside Klang Valley, Icon Entertainment founder Iman Tang explained why Kuala Lumpur was still the best stage for KRU’s finale.
“After discussions, we decided to bring it back to Kuala Lumpur with a bigger stage and an even better production. Ticket prices will be slightly reduced, but we are adding value in terms of production.”
For Iman, this extra show isn’t just about demand—it’s also proof of how strong Malaysia’s entertainment industry is becoming.
So whether you’re a long-time KRU fan or just curious to see why the hype never dies, this finale might be your last chance to catch them live—one more time.
Tickets go on sale from 3 October, starting at RM188, via ticket2u.com.my/genkruFinale.
