Karl Lagerfeld & PUMA Combine Styles With Two Roma Sneakers
As the fashion world continues to mourn the loss of Karl Lagerfeld, PUMA honours his legacy by releasing two special-edition collaborative versions of the Roma silhouette. The sporty-chic designs comes in for men and women which feature a playful dot pattern, and follows the first collaboration between the two brands in 2018.
The collectible sneakers fuse PUMA’s streetwise swagger with a touch of Karl’s classic sophistication. Utilising a polka dot theme for both shoes in the pack, PUMA stays true to Karl’s signature black and white look.
The collaboration features two designs: a unisex Roma and a Roma Armor for women.
First introduced by PUMA in 1968 as a track shoe, both shoes have a die-cut stacked midsole decked with oversized Karl Lagerfeld branding.
The unisex Roma option is constructed from soft black leather, finished off with a navy blue collar lining and two-toned rigid outsole. As for the Roma Armor sneaker, it features an edgier appearance with satin finished upper, millennial pink accents, the iconic platform PUMA sole and unique graphics of the Karl Lagerfeld logo.
